I heart shabby chic

Shabby chic decor is a type of decorating that uses vintage items and flea market finds to create a warm, crisp look.

White and light pastel colors are the base for most shabby chic designs. Overstuffed antique chairs, couches and pillows covered in floral and striped fabrics are essential elements. Incorporating distressed or imperfect furniture and decorative items separates this look from others

I have a collection of mismatched mirrors in my shabby chic front living room.

My master and daughter's bathrooms are shabby chic, mine far more than theirs with the walls painted a light pink, white vanity and floral shower curtain.

My bedroom is not shabby chic at the moment, I was trying to make it a bit more he-male, lol

My kitchen is a bit of a half and half as my husband won't let me paint the cabinets white....it's just a matter of time, lol. My half bath downstairs is shabby chic, so is Rylie's room. My upstairs living room is really nothing as of now, and my back living room is burgundy with my collection of stars. That's more of a rustic look to me. I have worked really hard to make my home beautiful and will start posting my own pics soon. :)
